Services

Tri-County Insulation, LLC crew members have extensive experience using a variety of insulation materials to insulate all the equipment in a mechanical room or space per engineering specifications. We insulate pumps, chillers, tanks, air separators, chill water/glycol, heat exchangers… really, we could make a long list. We work with all kinds of equipment – whatever you need insulated.

Some of our most frequently used materials are described below:

Duct Insulation

Fiberglass (duct liner, duct wrap, duct board, or flexible ducts) or foamglas duct insulation per engineering specifications to reduce condensation, absorb noise and improve the air temperature efficiency of your duct system.

Pipe Insulation

All types of insulation for commercial applications in conformance with engineering specifications. Preformed manufactured pipe insulation to match engineering specifications, fiberglass, urethane, foamglas, mineral wool, calcium silicate, Armaflex, etc.

Equipment Insulation

We insulate pumps, chillers, tanks, air separators, chill water/glycol, heat exchangers… really, we could make a long list. We work with all kinds of equipment – whatever you need insulated.

Jacketing

PVC jacketing is used indoors on chilled water, hot water, steam and other piping systems in commercial, institutional, and industrial applications. Colored PVC fittings and jacketing create a clean look and provide easy identification for different pipe systems.

Aluminum jacket is a weather barrier to extend the life of your insulation.

Alumaguard all weather jacket is mainly used on exterior duct work. Alumaguard is a UV resistant, vapor barrier and weather barrier membrane.

Sound Reduction

Acoustical sound deadening materials on air handlers and equipment room walls.

Heat Trace

We can install heat trace to protect pipes from freezing, maintain a constant flow temperature in hot water systems, or maintain process temperatures for piping that must transport substances that solidify at room temperatures. Tri-County Insulation, LLC does not employ licensed electricians; you’ll need to arrange for electrical connection after we install the system.
